Widest "Side-by-Side" Processing Capability on the Market

Our Dual and Multi-Track Options are available in two configurations. The first version is a "moving-fixed-moving" setup that incorporates a fixed, 1.375 inch/34 mm wide center-rail with two edge pin conveyor chains. This configuration processes dual substrates up to 11.250-inches/286 mm in width. The second version is a fixed-moving, fixed-moving" setup that processes dual substrates up to 10-inches/254 mm in width. We also offer three and four-track edge conveyors for applications such as BGA ball reflow and Flip Chip "underfill" curing.

Who Can Best Utilize Dual/Multi-Track Technology?

Dual or Multi-Track technology is NOT recommended for simultaneous processing of different width and mass substrates (i.e., by including independent rail and conveyor speed control on each track). Products of different mass and width usually require slightly different heat and cooling zone settings to meet processing requirements. Since laterally adjustment of heating and cooling zones is not a reality, appropriate thermal compensation cannot be ensured by varying "track speed" alone. Thus, Dual or Multi-Track Technology is best suited for high production applications where linear floor space is limited.
